Our Parks, Your Mountain
High Cascade has 26 years of experience designing and building amazing snowboard parks on Mount Hood, Oregon. We’re taking that same experience and bringing it to your resort to create the HCSC Mini-Park™. We will work closely with Park Staff to recreate our world-class facilities on a hill near you!
Our park is for you, the rider
We wouldn’t play tennis with wiffle ball bats or try to eat spaghetti with a spoon. The same mentality dictates that we should design and build each feature in the HCSC Mini-Park™ with snowboarding in mind. With our features you will learn to ollie onto rails, pop off the lips of jumps, and maximize the skills you have available as a snowboarder. While our park may be loved by all snow sport enthusiasts we aim to best serve you, the rider, by providing the ultimate park experience. It is what we love to ride and we know you will, too.
Options for every ability
An array of progressive features will please riders of all abilities and offer opportunity for you to learn new tricks or perfect the ones you already know. Whether it be your first foray into the park or if you’re a seasoned veteran in the park; we’ve got you covered.
Positive & Outgoing
Many of our staff are amazing snowboarders, but at High Cascade that isn’t enough; we actively recruit people who are amazing both on AND off their boards. The primary question we ask ourselves for each applicant is “do you want to hang out with this person all day every day of the week? If the answer isn’t a resounding YES! then we move on to the next application. We do this to ensure that you have positive time spent with each and every High Cascade employee. Our employees don’t just turn negatives into positives, they turn positives into the best time of your life.
Informed & Passionate about Snowboarding
All of our staff work at High Cascade because they love to snowboard. Whether a sunny park day or stormy pow day, you’ll find us chomping at the bit to get on-hill to lay down some turns, jib, and jump until our legs tell us it is time to stop. Along with riding, our staff also love to teach and discuss all aspects of snowboarding from analyzing the latest videos to laying down the perfect layer of wax on our boards and brainstorming new tricks to try on the slopes. We came into our jobs with a deep love of snowboarding and use working at High Cascade as a way to share and continue that love day in and day out.
Well Rounded Skills & Interests
Our staff are dedicated to snowboarding but that is not all we do! We play music, enjoy watching and participating in other sports, create art, go to school, skateboard, surf, and much more. Whatever interests you may have outside of snowboarding are common with many of our staff.
Standards, Expectations, & Training
We hold all HCSC Winter Camp staff to the same high standards and expectations we require from our summer employees. We also provide them with the same level of training and education so they are well equipped to meet our high expectations. You can expect the same level of safety, education, professionalism, and fun from our staff regardless of the location.
