How good do you need to be to come to camp?
Every session we have campers who have literally never snowboarded before (and occasionally campers who have never even seen snow). On the other end of the spectrum, there are always 2 or 3 coaching groups of insanely talented riders that at times give our coaches a run for their money.
About 80% of our campers fit somewhere 'in the middle' of the ability spectrum.
The majority are low to intermediate park level riders who want to improve their jump, rail and pipe riding. Many are working on straight airs and 50-50’s, some are learning 3’s and frontside board-slides and a few are working up to 5’s, 7’s and technical rail tricks.
Snowboarders of all ability levels supporting each other, learning new tricks and HAVING FUN. With approximately 30 different coaching groups each session you’re guaranteed to be riding with campers that are on the same level.
How does it work having so many different abilities?
Before you get to camp, you will fill out an ability form with a bunch of questions regarding how long you've been riding, how frequently you ride, what your background (if any) is in the park, and which trick(s) if any you can land. We then look over everyone's ability forms and place them into small coaching groups based on ability.
