HCSC Girl Activity Extravaganza!
Check out what happened behind the lodge yesterday! Here at HCSC, we know that a skatepark full of boys can be intimidating for a girl to learn new tricks. While all the boys are up at the High Cascade arena playing dogeball, we invite all the girl campers to a fun, safe, and progressive session on the trampolines, in the foam pit, and on the skate ramps. Some first time skaters learned how to pump in a mini ramp. Learning how to properly pump is the first step to becoming a proficient skateboarder. Then, the girls learned how to drop in on our signature beginner ramps.
The olympic fly bed trampoline, the spring free trampoline, and the foam pit were all going off too! Girls learned new flips and polished up old ones; a great time was had all around! Learning a backflip in the foam pit is a crucial step before taking it to a trampoline. Then, that backflip will be so much easier to try on a snowboard into our Bag Jump and eventually on to snow!
