I’m sure all of you up here at High Cascade Snowboard Camp have seen a really tall guy walking around camp with a camera. In fact, he’s so tall it would be really hard to miss him. Well, this gentle giants’ name is Sean Lucey, and we recently sat down and got a few words out of him!
Name: Sean Lucey
Camp Position: Filmer
Years working at camp:4
HCSC: What did you do this winter? Sean:I was a filmer for Think Thank, and helped film their new video Ransack Rebellion. I basically lived out of my truck and traveled all around the U.S filming different Think Thank riders all year long. I also spent a lot of time in Tahoe, and basically filmed Nick Visconti, Tim Eddy, and Jason Robinson’s entire parts.
HCSC: How tall are you? Sean: 7’2″
HCSC: Is it true that you got hired by Think Thank and HCSC because you can get a birds eye view with out having to use a crane? Sean: Definitely. I am the Human Crane.
Pretty awesome that the same videographers who film the pros are also the same videographers who film campers and make the HCSC session videos!!! If you want to get filmed by Think Thank filmers, then all you have to do is come to camp! It’s that easy!!!
Come check out all of Sean’s hard work tonight, when Think Thank premieres there new video, Ransack Rebellion! It should be Awesome™
That’s right, you heard us correctly. This summer at High Cascade we are going to be having a Pizza Party™ all summer long!!!
Pizza Party ™is the brain child of totally radical guy, and pro shred Tim Eddy, and Unicorn Food™ master Hannah Fuller. We recently sat down with them to find out all of the true dirt about Pizza Party™.
HCSC: So guys what made you both want to start Pizza Party™? Tim: Well we both love food. Hannah: A lot. Pretty much our days revolve around what we are going to eat, when we are going to eat it, and how we are going to get it. Tim: I live to eat. I don’t eat to live. So it was pretty much a no brainier. We had to do something with food. Hannah: Yeah last year I was running Unicorn Food and realized that it could be something way bigger than just grilled cheeses’. And who doesn’t love pizza? It’s a good vehicle to bring happiness to people.
HCSC; What are both of your favorite types of pizza? Hannah: Oh that’s so hard! That’s like comparing bananas and apples. Tim: Well let’s see, my favorite kind of pizza? I love them all! Hannah: I have never gotten that out of him! We have been on a pizza hunt ever since we knew we were going to start Pizza Party™. We have had every type of pizza you could possibly find. And they are all amazing! Tim: I mean, I am usually pretty picky about what I eat. Like you know, I try to eat good, quality food, but I even love bad pizza! I will eat any pizza. Frozen pizza, doesn’t even matter. Hannah: But you wouldn’t eat a frozen corn dog, that’s for sure. Tim: No, not at all. But a frozen pizza, no question. So i guess our favorite pizza are any types’ of pizza, all pizza.
(This video has nothing to do with HCSC or Pizza Party™, but man is it funny!)
HCSC: What’s the whackiest topping either of you two have ever put on a pizza? Tim: Well one time we made a mac and pee-za. I took some nice macaroni noodles, and some pees, with a real nice bechamel cream sauce, and some cheese, and we squirted the cheese sauce on top and cooked it. It was a real good, whacky pizza.
HCSC: What makes a pizza party a party, rather than just a pizza meal? Hannah: Well i guess we could have called it pizza meal? Tim: The party is in your mouth! It’s not just a pizza meal because it’s a party with your taste buds. Even if you are eating a pizza, sitting just by yourself, you are still partying with your buds, your taste buds.
HCSC: Why is this Pizza Party going to be better then any other pizza party this world has ever seen? Hannah: Well for the record, we did not claim that, but since you asked it’s going to be the best because we actually care about what we are doing. We are getting local ingredients. We are supporting local businesses. We are using all natural, nitrate-free peperoni, that we get locally. Tim: We are going to be making all of our dough from scratch, as well as all of our sauce. We are also grilling all of our pizzas. That’s the way that we have been making our pizzas for a long time, but I feel like that’s a new way to make a pizza for a bunch of people. It’s going to be something original for a bunch of people. Basically this pizza is going to taste good!

High Cascade's staff ready to get Session 5 rolling
We’re also sooooooooooo psyched that a few long time HCSC family members brought a few groups to camp. Ex-counselor Mike Ramirez is here with the Mammoth Mountain Snowboard Team and ex-coach Nick Nagel is here with the Winter Park Team. Plus, a group from the Chill foundation will be our guests this session… it’s going to be a blast.
Hopefully this guy knew he was awesome before getting a camper shirt at check-in. At least now he has a shirt to prove it.
Campers getting their sticker jobs ready for tomorrow: FDOH (that's First Day On Hill to the lay person) - one guy was so excited his face started to blur... but Nurse Greg fixed him.
Lead Cook Jake grilling up some shiskabobs at the BBQ. Fresh, local organic food from Mt. Hood Produce in Hood River, OR... No big deal - the K-Unit holds it down.
This is our 100% snowboarder packed crew! The Session 5 gang seems like an amazing group. Good times guaranteed.
Assistant Camp Director Adam Kisiel (aka Kisiel) keeps tabs on perhaps the most heated game of RPS (rock, paper scissors) of the summer. Camper Griffin vs. Signature Sessioner™ (and HCSC Digger!) Desiree Melancon (Des won!).
You could scour the face of this planet - and you'd be hard pressed to find a better human to spend 8 days of your life with than this man: TIM EDDY. Tim and his coaching group coming up with a game plan for Session 5.

Coach Tim Eddy with a crowd of spectators cheering him on finishes the last bites of an 8 lb. calzone in an hour. He has got an appetite bigger than the super booter.
