Also for your Session 2 cravings, here is a little video of the Session 2 Signature Sessioners™ The Frends crew ,skating our amazing bowls and mini ramps. These guys just ripped up our 15,000 sq feet of rolling transitions. Check it!

The Action Never Stops at High Cascade!!!!!!!
Saturday, July 2nd, 2011Earlier today we showed you some action shots from on the mountain. Well there was so much more exciting things that happened after snowboard that we just had to come back and show you! During dinner tonight we had our World Famous Marshmallow Drop. Basically the premise of the Marshmallow Drop is that two people stand on the ground at Boardwalk, and two staff member drop marshmallows into their mouth. The first round is on the 2nd floor, than 3ed, and finally fourth.
If you can make it all the way through, and you are the last one left then you win a snowboard! Easy as that! This Session the camper with the biggest mouth (literally he was able to catch the ‘mallow) was Tristan! Preston, the Camp Director™ also made it to the end, but since he owns camp, he couldn’t win a board. So For Tristan’s trouble he got a brand new Salomon Salomonder Snowboard! How cool is that!
Following the Marshmallow Drop, it was time for the World Famous Giveaway™! We gave away so much gear today it was totally insane!!!! Check out how pumped everyone was!!!
The Frends crew was also around giving out even more gear! It was really awesome having all of these guys around! All of us at HCSC are going to miss them!
The lady Signature Sessioners™ were hanging out with all of us too, eating smores and telling jokes!
Earlier this Session, a bunch of campers designed a board. If you don’t remember check out the photos.
Well Signature Sessioner™ Elena Hight was able to have these boards pressed! She gave away two custom made Volcom snowboards to two super lucky dudes! Both of their names were Tyler and they were STOKED!!!!!!!!!
The infamous rock, paper, scissor battle for boards was the night cap for the Giveaway. These four lucky souls ended up with brand new snowboards. Man are they hyped!!
Man oh man we really are going to miss all of our Session 2 campers! This session really was one for the books!
Who Loves the Sun?
Friday, July 1st, 2011We do! High Cascade Snowboard Camp, that’s who!
Especially the Session 2 campers! While we may have had a little bit of less than desirable weather this Session, we certainly had a banger of a LDOH™ ( that stands for Last Day On Hill). The sun was shining so bright all day, and there was not a single cloud in the sky as far as the eye could see. The mountain looked amazing!
Everywhere you looked, sessions were happening. Whether it was on a rail,
A box,
or the jumps, something crazy was going on.
The mini-pipe was going off too, the fly out zone on the bottom was perfect today.
The Superpipe was also going absolutely berserk! The Chinese National Team has been guests of HCSC all Summer, and man can they shred the Superpipe. Shawn White better watch himself in 2014!
The Tallest Man at Camp™, Sean Lucy was also shredding the Superpipe when he wasn’t filming all of the action that was happening inside of it. Man that guy is tall. And man is this nose grab stylish.
The Diggers always work so hard to make sure everything in all of our parks are just absolutely perfect. LDOH™ is always a celebration. It’s always the day when the black comes off, and the Hawaiian comes on.
We really couldn’t have asked for a better way to end the Session! The weather was perfect, the snow was soft, and everyone had a killer time!
Cloudy With a Chance of… Awesomeness™!!!!!!
Tuesday, June 28th, 2011So today started out a little cloudy…
But ended up being totally Awesome™!!!!!!!
We had so many Awesome™ activities happen off the hill today it wasn’t even funny! We had an intense Pool Tournament! It was like watching Tom Cruise in The Color of Money:
Look at these guys, they are total Pool Sharks™!
We also had an extremely extraordinary Ping-Pong tournament happen in the lodge. It looked a little something like this…
Actually, that match fails in comparison as to what really went down this afternoon. It was way more intense in the Lodge™.
The final match was amazing, just look at the reaction from the crowd when the final point was delivered!!!!!!!
If you weren’t into either of those amazing activities, you could have headed up to the Demo Center™. Things were getting really weird and exciting in there!
Man oh man, at HCSC we really know how to have the best time, no matter what the weather is! Tomorrow is Activity Day™ so you know radical stuff will be happening! Check back tomorrow to see what goes down!!!
CIRCLE RAINBOW!!!!!!!!!
Monday, June 27th, 2011THAT’S RIGHT WE HAD ONE ON HILL TODAY!!!!
Today was also the first time the Session 2™ campers went riding with their coaches, and man they were stoked!!!
The riding today was also amazing. The diggers did an amazing job setting up the park this Session and everything right now is extremely on point!! Check out Tanner McCarty, this is what he does when he’s not setting up your boards in the Demo Center™:
Coach Johnny O’Connor was also shredding off chain! Look at this picture perfect hand-plant. That’s the way you do it everyone, right on the coping!
The off-hill action was also just as on-point. Signature Sessioner™ Elena Hight brought some blank Volcom snowboards for all the campers to design.
These boards are going to be pressed during the Session, and two lucky campers are going to have the chance to win a one of a kind Volcom board! How cool is that!! Check out the dudes creating beautiful works of art!!!
The action didn’t stop at designing graphics though, we also had hardcore extreme dodge ball action!!! Check it out, it was some of the most fierce action we have ever seen! For the first time in HCSC history we had a 1 on 1 final death shoot out!! It was INSANE!!!!!!!!!
It was so crazy that the game was called a draw! No winners or losers at HCSC. Tomorrow is looking to be one for the books, so get pumped and check back tomorrow!!!

Saturday, June 4th, 2011that the Session 2 Signature Sessioner’s™ have won, you could fill up a money pit like Scrooge McDuck
That’s right, Session 2 at High Cascade Snowboard Camp features the FRENDS crew for the guys, and Elena Hight, Spencer O’brien, and Leanne Pelosi.
The FRENDS crew features amazing riders such as Danny Davis, Kevin Pearce, Jack Mitrani, Luke Mitrani, Scotty Lago, Mason Aguirre, Kier Dillion, and Mikkel Bang. This session is like signing up for a summer basketball league and getting put on this team.
