This recap is on point! Check it out and see what exactly went down during the sunniest session that we’ve had all summer. It was sooooooo nice!

Sunny Sunny Session 5

Monday, August 1st, 2011

Well Session 5 has come to a close, but boy was it a great one! It was the sunniest session that we have had all summer! The weather finally decided to come out and greet us with a big sun smile, and we are glad that it did. It was so warm out today that a few of the staff decided that they wanted to go surfing instead of snowboarding!

But that’s not all the action that we saw on hill, oh no, not by a long shot! There were also handplants galore getting thrown down in the mini-pipe today. Look at how proper Forum Snowboards pro, and long time Signature Sessioner™ Pat Moore’s hand plants are!

We know you have seen the Session recaps™, and most of you have seen a Session video or two in your days, but did you know that Tanner Pendalton, the mastermind behind both, is an amazing snowboarder? Well you do know!

Do you like the all of HCSC’s advertisements? Think they have cool photos? Well those are all the work of High Cascasde Snowboard Camps marketing photographer Aaron Blatt. Not only is he an amazing photographer, but man that guy can shred like the best of them. Look at this Andrecht!

Off the hill things only got hotter. We had the marshmallow drop today. The person who can catch a marshmallow in their mouth from the 3ed story balcony gets a free snowboard. How cool is that?

Later in the day we had the Signature Sessioners™ sign tons of autographs and we all made smore’s. It was tons of fun!

The giveaway went off again like usual. We gave away a ton of boards!

But this time there was a twist! Hope these guys brought a towel!

Man, Session 5 was so much fun! We have one Session left this summer. Come join us and be a part of all the exciting action that happens here every single day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you into hanging out with legends?

Tuesday, June 7th, 2011

Have you ever played baseball with this guy?

How about basketball with this guy?

If not you can still breath easy because this summer during Session 5 you will have your chance to hang with two of snowboarding’s most distinguished dudes

Jp Walker

and

Jeremy Jones

That’s right, Jp and Jeremy are two of Session 5′s Signature Sessioners™. These two have been in the game for a very, very long time. Together these guys have put out some of the most influential video parts of all time. Check out this ground breaking part from JP Walker in Forum Snowboards’ 2001 video, The Resistance.

And here is Jeremy Jones’ part

It’s pretty crazy that these parts are now over 10 years old! Come on out to High Cascade, Session 5 and shred with some bonafide legends!! The other Signature Sessioners™ during Session 5 are Joe Sexton, Simon Chamberlain, and the Peepshow ladies. It’s going to be AWESOME!!!!

Snowboarder Magazine’s ANTPM (America’s Next Top Pro Model) Coverage From HCSC

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

We played host to a contest last week, called America’s Next Top Pro Model, put on by Snowboarder Magazine.  It was a radical time of pro boarder-dudes testing their board’s skill level…  The following images are actually links to pages on www.snowboardermag.com that really break down that went down.  We could write all about it too… but we’re a snowboard camp… not a magazine.  Feel free to click on these  to be taken to a magical place on the Internet

We're not sure if this is plagiarism? We took a screenshot of a photo Snowboarder Magazine's Aaron Dodds took. Aaron - if your out there, please let us know if you intend to sue.

Plagiarism again? Still not sure. This time it's a Ryan Hughes Photo. Huggy? Are we cool?

Ya like Movies? Watch this one. It's the coverage from the ANTPM High Ollie contest.
