Top 10 HCSC Videos from 2011 (That We Didn’t Make).

Thursday, February 16th, 2012

Cruising around the old Internet, we came across quite a few videos people edited together from last summer.

In no particular order: here are 10 of our favorites:

#1 Videograss Trick Tip: How to Ollie with Jed Anderson

Perhaps the fundamental trick of all tricks. Learn how to snap a good ollie, and reap the rewards.

#2 The DC Team Shredding HCSC

During The Finns Signature Session (Lauri, Eero, Heikki, Ikka), the folks from DC came out and got a little summer shredding in our parks. This edit came out great.

#3 Changethattape.com Edit with Stevens, Bode, Grendys and Co.

Anything with these guys in it is Gold. Although all the shots are recycled from HCSC Session videos, it doesn’t make watching this any less awesome. Edited by Sleepy Stevens himself.

#4 The Frends Crew’s HCSC Britney Spears Video

Oh man. We’ve been so fortunate to have these guys in our lives for the past 4 summers. Re-watching this video Jack Mitrani put together last summer makes us want to step on the gas and floor it to Session 2 when they’ll be back at camp again. This is ridiculous btw.

#5 Eero Ettala Returns to Snow

After battling a few injuries that kept Eero off the snow for a season+, we were honored to have him join us for his triumphant return to the slippery stuff. Join us this summer Session 4 when Eero and friends come back for more.

#6 Eero Ettala Skate Video
You’ve seen the snowboard action of Eero whilst at camp last summer, now check out the skate edit he put together. The man’s unstoppable.

#7 Videograss Trick Tip: How to Slide Kink Rails with Mark Sollors

HCSC backs Mark’s style of shredding. From the Parks, to the Pow, and all the streets that lay in between: Mark slays it. He’s also perhaps the greatest Foam Pit jouster we’ve ever seen at camp.

#8 Chris Grenier’s HCSC Bernie Dance Compilation

For some reason Chris Grenier (former Digger/Signature Sessioner) was loving the “Bernie Dance” last summer. The Bernie Dance is named after the 80′s comedy classic “Weekend at Bernies” in which a bunch of dudes pretend a dead guy is alive, he parties, he dances, it’s stupid/awesome. Well during Grenier’s Signature Session last summer, he put together this Bernie compilation at camp that received a standing ovation during the session video premier screening. This ain’t no puff piece though: Jed Anderson has some next level Boarding Bernie action.

#9 Pat Moore Interview by Camper Holden Barth

This is a 14 min iPhone interview one of our campers: Holden Barth did with Pat Moore during his Signature Session. If you’re a Pat Moore fan, like we are, than this is a cool watch. Both Pat and Holden have great attitudes, outlooks, and are just good dudes. It’s all filmed on the fly on an iPhone, in front of the lodge.

#10 Peepshow Girls at Camp
During Session 6 the gals from the film crew Peepshow came out for their Signature Session and had a blast with. Check out Jess Kimura, Laura Hadar, Desiree Melancon, and more kicking it at camp.
