Here at High Cascade, we’re fortunate enough to have the facilities that we do to further ourselves in so many ways. One key attraction that we have at camp is the foam pit! The foam pit is essentially a bucket full of pillows, and the perfect place to learn all sorts of maneuvers. Yesterday, the girls of High Cascade grouped up and had an amazing session at the foam pit.
Along with the foam pit, we have other ways besides jumping off the side to get in. We have a skate ramp for advanced levels and a mini trampoline for beginners. The beginning of the session began with a few basic jumps into the pit, but eventually evolved into most of the girls getting up side down and learning front flips!
Sometimes jumping with a friend makes it a little easier.
Counselor Katie gets the group to hold hands and do a leap of faith all together.
All in all, the girls had an awesome time at the foam pit. They gained some confidence whether it be going upside-down, or interacting with the other girl campers. Here at High Cascade, once your a camper, your family, and we hope that all the campers treat each other as such.
