What do you do when your clothing sponsor sends you 8 sets of outerwear outfits and a giant box of hoodies? Well, If you’re Hana Beaman you give it all away to campers… After riding on the last day of camp, Hana held a speed-dressing event, in which campers put on as many layers possible of Vans Outerwear in one minute.
In an amazing race of speed, coordination and style, 16 campers raced against the clock trying to win outerwear for their ENTIRE HOUSE. That’s right, Hana had so much stuff on hand she outfitted an entire camper house. The action was intense, as campers mistakenly stuck their heads through armholes and their arms through head holes.
In the end it was the girls chalet taking the prize with a total of ten pieces of clothing. Ten articles of clothing might not seem like a lot, but when 200 people are watching, an announcer is calling you out and Hana Beaman is the official score keeper… things can get hectic. So start practicing your speed layering before coming to camp next summer… it could pay off big time.
