AMERICAN CAMPING ASSOCIATION

ACA logoSince 1997 High Cascade has been accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) . Developed exclusively for the camp industry, this nationally recognized program focuses on program quality, health and safety issues, and requires us to review every facet of our operation. Only 25% of an estimated 8,500 day and resident camps have attained ACA accreditation status. High Cascade has voluntarily submitted to this independent appraisal done by camp experts and has earned this mark of distinction. High Cascade's most recent renewal of accreditation was 2003.

AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTORS

AASIIn 1991, HCSC became the first and only Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) certified snowboard school in the nation. Three years ago PSIA formed the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI) which focuses on raising the standards of snowboard instruction across the nation. Our staff attend PSIA/AASI educational events in an effort to keep up on the latest breakthroughs in providing fun, safe and informative instruction for our campers. All full-time summer Coaches attain an AASI Level 1 certification during their pre-camp training.

WORLD WAKEBOARD ASSOCIATION

To stay involved and informed with what's happening in this rapidly growing sport, we have become members of the World Wakeboard Association (WWA). This keeps us on top of progression, safety updates, and other related developments. Wakeboard Staff are certified lifeguards as well as American Red Cross CPR/1st Aid certified, experienced and Oregon licensed boat drivers, and members of the WWA.
