HOW TO APPLY FOR A JOB AT HCSC
BEFORE YOU START...ALL EMPLOYEES:
- Must be at least 18 years of age (There are NO C.I.T. jobs available)
- Are subject to background and motor vehicle record checks
- Must be First Aid and CPR certified (by start of job)
- Must pass pre-employment & random drug tests
- Must have relevant child experience
- Must go by the following instructions
In addition all jobs are full-time beginning approximately June 1, 2008 and ending approximately August 20, 2008.

Due to the overwhelming number applicants we receive each season at HCSC, we ask you to please read this information thoroughly before applying. The ability to follow directions is crucial. This is your first test.

IMPORTANT GUIDELINES
1.) Choose the position you are most suited for, and apply for that (hundreds of resumes come each season saying, "I don′t care", "I′ll do anything" or "I′ll clean toilets")
2.) If you feel you are suited for more than one position be sure to send in a separate resume & cover letter for each position you are applying for.
3.) Please do not call us to check on your resume. With the sheer volume of applicants who apply each season, this puts a heavy burden on our already busy office staff.
4.) Apply! Just because we receive a ton of resumes doesn′t mean it is impossible to get hired. We are constantly striving to create a well rounded, diverse, fun, energetic, safe and professional staff. We want to see your resume.

APPROXIMATE TIMELINE FOR SUMMER HIRING
Return Employee Hiring
Our already excellent staff get first crack at next summer′s openings.
- February 1st: Rehire Packets Sent to Last Summer′s Employees
- March 1st: Deadline for Rehire Packets to be returned to HCSC
- March 15th: All Return Employees Notified of Job Status
New Employee Hiring
Although we accept applications constantly year round, the preferred window is November 15 to March 15.
- March 15th: Preliminary Application Deadline for New Summer Hires
Management accesses staffing needs based on return staff numbers
Resumes are reviewed by Department Managers
- April 7th - TBD: Prospective New Hires are contacted for an Interview
- TBD: New Hires are notified.
